Being part of a team comes second nature to Nate Guenin. After many years spent laced up in skates, when it was time to step away from his professional hockey career, it was an easy decision to return home to Pittsburgh and become part of another team, the Anthony Leone Group, to work alongside of his childhood friend, Anthony Leone.

For many years he has had an ongoing interest in real estate and when you couple that interest with his degree from Ohio State in Finance along with his genuine desire to make a difference in others’ lives, it becomes very clear why real estate is a natural next career choice.

Buying a home is one of the largest financial decisions a person makes in their lifetime. His education in finance solidifies Nate’s understanding of the gravity of that decision and it’s resounding impact for building a strong financial future.

When working with his clients, Nate’s determination and commitment that was once reserved for his teammates on the ice, now become apparent in his role in helping his clients achieve their own real estate goals. While providing exceptional service and care, Nate’s objective when working with his clients is to be instrumental in facilitating the real estate transaction process—making it as stress free as possible. As part of the Anthony Leone Group, Nate’s ultimate goal is to become a strong real estate resource to his clients. Having grown up in a Pittsburgh suburb with strong steel town roots, Nate embodies the innate robust work ethic so prevalent in the people of the City of Champions. He is very familiar with the various communities and neighborhoods that make Western Pennsylvania an amazing place to call “home”. Having lived in many different parts of the country during his professional hockey career, Nate was able to experience other cities and cultures within the US. Although he met many exceptional people and was able to experience living near the ocean as well as the mountains, he is most proud to say he is from Pittsburgh. His passion for the Steel City shines through in every encounter.

Nate’s strong work ethic and drive began in his youth with his first job delivering newspapers on a local paper route while he was still in middle school. Looking back, Nate can’t remember a time when he didn’t work – even when he left Pittsburgh and moved to Wisconsin to play in the junior hockey league while still in high school, Nate always held a part time job while keeping up with hours of hockey and his studies.

Today, when not busy with real estate, Nate’s favorite pastime is coaching a local youth hockey team. It is a great source of inspiration to witness their passion and fierce devotion to a sport he has played seemingly his entire life. Their joy on the ice reminds him very much of his own youth. As an avid outdoorsman, it would not be unusual to find Nate on a trail at Ohiopyle, heading to Seven Springs to hit the slopes, or swinging his clubs at any of the outstanding golf courses in the area.

Nate’s talent for hockey allowed him to have an extraordinary career, the making of many childhood athletes’ dreams, but his humbleness and down to earth, laid back outlook translates to a smooth real estate transaction where Nate confidently navigates the various challenges and advocates for his clients’ best interests every step of the way.
